The AMSI CHOOSEMATHS  team is working to support mathematical learning outcomes and student engagement in the classroom and foster participation into Year 12 and beyond. As well as providing online mathematics teaching resources, our education specialists are working on the ground in 120 Australian regional and metropolitan schools nationally. Professional development and training is enhancing content knowledge and teacher confidence. With additional support also provided through delivery of classroom-specific materials, lesson activities and learning approaches.

Delivered regionally, professional development sessions allow cluster schools to collectively work through curriculum and content issues and share successful strategies for engaging students.

Additionally, outreach events such as Girls Enjoying Maths Days and CHOOSEMATHS Family Maths nights create opportunities to foster student engagement and highlight real-world applications through linkages to local industry champions.
