Mathematics and Gender Workshop 2018
19 – 21 June 2018

AMSI’s Mathematics and Gender Workshop brings together Academics in both Mathematics and Education, Teachers and Government representatives.  The 3-day workshop aims to develop strategies and advance practical ways to address maths anxiety of students and teachers and increase  students’ confidence in and attitudes towards mathematics.

The findings of this workshop will be used to inform the AMSI Choose Maths Outreach and, in the longer term, are expected to lead to policy proposals around gender and mathematics.
